As a feature of our Web site, we've partnered with LabourStart to provide the five most recent labor-related headlines. The headlines are related to trade unions and are updated about every 15 minutes, 7 days a week.
The first day of classes for the fall semester is August 27, 2011 starting at 7:00 AM till 5:30 PM. Classes will run thru November 19, 2011 Please bring your books to the first day of class. The Apprentices will not have class on Saturday, September 3, 2011 due to the Labor Day weekend. ATTENTION LU 295 MEMBERS: Look in the mail for the latest information regarding eye care and dental care. If you have not received this information, please call NEBA at 1-888-396-5899 and let them know you have not received the letters regarding these two changes to our health coverage. A letter to the editor titled "Plumbers Apprenticeship" written by Oliver Winn was recently printed in the newspaper. Click here to read the letter. Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership Leading American hunting, fishing and conservation organizations have formed the TRCP (Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership) to join forces to conserve crucial fish and wildlife habitat, increase fish and wildlife management funding, and expand public hunting and fishing access. Log on to www.trcp.org and join now! Honor the past, protect the future! Membership is free!! Please make sure your beneficiary cards are up-to-date. Due to marriages, divorces and unfortunately deaths, the beneficiary cards need to be updated from time to time. We will be glad to assist you. Also make sure we have your current address and phone numbers and any other contact information necessary. These things are your responsibility to keep current. E-mail Notification List - If you wish to be added to an "EMAIL NOTIFICATION" list through the Hall - e-mail us at local295@cfl.rr.com with your FULL NAME in the Subject line. These messages are for LOCAL 295 MEMBERS ONLY! If you fail to put your name in the subject line, you will not be added to the list.
